March 2006 to Present: Software Engineer/Lead Flash Developer Scripps Networks Interactive
- Supervise the Flash/Flex development team for all Scripps Networks properties.
- Created php web service for an upcoming iPhone/iPad/Android app for foodnetwork.com.
- Architected panorama module for “tour“ tentpoles: Dream Home, Green Home, Blog Cabin, Urban Oasis.
- Created the floorplan architecture for tour tentpoles.
- Architected back-end admin, database, coldfusion service, and front end for the GAC Top 20 Vote. Results from this vote determine what videos get played on the Top 20 show weekly.
- Re-architected and re-wrote, from the ground up, the central video player for our smaller sites.
- Created the DIY Hosts and Experts carousel on the DIY home page.
- Architected the back end, database, admin, and web app for sponsored Designer’s Portfolio rooms.
- Architected the back end, database, and admin for photogallery hotspots. Front end was done in dhtml.
- Wrote the homepage highlights reel for HGTVPro
- Created accordion widget for dynamically pulling in sponsored content depending on several characteristics: the site on which the ad is displayed, metadata keywords on the page, and keyword priorities passed in via xml.
- Architected the system for displaying ad overlays in all of our video players.
- Created polling applications for finale votes for Designer's Portfolio and Next Food Network Star in previous years.
2008 to Present: Freelance work
- 100 Black Men of America – Coded an interactive health challenge quiz for distribution on cd.
- Hotoberfest – Coded entire flash website.
- Brunswick Boating group – Extensively modified a custom application for dynamically creating boat pricing stickers.
September 2004 to March 2006: Software Developer/Project Manager, Cadre5
- Premier Global Services – Oversaw updates/enhancements to existing BlackBerry applications distributed by the client.
- University of Tennessee Extension Offices – Performed System Analysis and designed interface of an internal web application.
- Regal Entertainment Group – Designed and coded the interface for a back-end eCommerce application, implemented front-end interface.

- Spearheaded the creation of an automatic update system using UNIX shell scripts.
- Maintained updates and security patches for Macintosh users, and trained them in new software and procedures.
